Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist primary school in Manchester from January 2026.

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs?
Do you have experience working in education and enjoy making a difference in children's lives?
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) both in the classroom and during outdoor activities

* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and supporting students' individual learning plans

* Foster a positive and engaging learning environment

* Support students with personal care where necessary and help them develop their social skills

* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents when required

About You:

* Experience working with children or in a similar role, ideally within an SEN setting

* A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

* A proactive attitude and the ability to think on your feet

* Relevant qualifications in education or SEN (desirable but not essential)
