Position: Exam Invigilator (Temporary)
We are recruiting Exam Invigilators on behalf of Secondary Schools in Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Stockport to oversee mock exams and GCSE's. No previous experience is necessary as free online training is given.

Who can apply?

* People who are generally interested in supporting students in the education sector.

* People who are interested in progressing to other roles such as Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors.

* Experienced Exam Invigilators.

Applicant requirements:

* All applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to purchase one at a cost of £60.79 for roles beginning in April.

* With the DBS all applicants will be able to apply for other roles within TES such as Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisors which will bring regular work during school term times.

* Must be willing to attend free Exam Invigilator training provided by TES to comply with the Joint Council for Qualification requirements. (1-hour online training)

* Be able to supply suitable references and be subject to our safeguarding and vetting checks.

As a successful candidate you must:

* Ensure that students enter the examination hall in the correct manner.

* Make sure that candidates are seated in accordance with the seating plan.

* Ensuring that students abide by the rules of the examination hall and that they practice the correct exam conditions. This includes behaviour, mobile phones, checking throughout the examination that no cheating occurs during, before or after the examination takes place.

Your requirements:

* Have good organisation skills.

* Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.

* Professional presentation.

* Effective communication skills.

About the role:

* The roles are to commence in April

* Total working hours will vary each week dependent on the number of exams undertaken.

* Salary will be £13.69 per hour.
