Reeson Education is working in partnership with an innovative specialist education provider to recruit an exciting Interview Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across multiple sites in Greater Manchester.
This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking Interview Support Assistant who enjoys working with technology, delivering structured interventions, and supporting pupils with autism and other SEND needs. The Interview Support Assistant will play a key role in delivering engaging, technology-supported interventions alongside more traditional, primary-based intervention programmes.
As an Interview Support Assistant, you will work closely with SEND teams, teachers, and families, helping to enhance learning outcomes, reduce anxiety, and promote social and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and support technology-led interventions as an Intervention Support Assistant
• Input and maintain pupil profiles and intervention data
• Adapt and personalise intervention programmes to meet individual needs
• Deliver additional interventions such as emotional regulation, social skills, anger and anxiety support
• Observe sessions and provide feedback to SEND teams and school staff
• Support staff with implementation and best practice as an Intervention Support Assistant
• Monitor progress and contribute to reports and outcome tracking
• Travel between sites when required as an Intervention Support Assistant
• Work collaboratively with SENDCOs, teachers, therapists, and families
• Maintain accurate records including EHCP and provision documentation
- Experience supporting pupils in education or SEND settings
• Confident using technology and digital platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet learner needs
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
• Passion for improving outcomes for children with additional needs
• Willingness to work across multiple sites as an Intervention Support Assistant
- Background in SEND, intervention, mentoring, or support roles
• Experience with data-led interventions and progress tracking
• Confidence delivering structured programmes independently
• Proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach
