A forward-thinking PRU / Alternative Provision school in Manchester is seeking a proactive, patient and driven Behaviour Mentor to join their growing team.
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with secondary students who require consistent, skilled support to re-engage with learning and reach their potential.
Students present with challenging behaviour and additional needs, including ASC and ADHD, so confidence, adaptability and emotional intelligence are essential.
✔ Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support
✔ Supporting students in and out of the classroom
✔ Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
✔ Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams
Helping create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For
✔ Experience working with children or young people in SEN, PRU, alternative provision, care or residential settings
✔ A calm, resilient and proactive approach to behaviour support
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
✔ A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology or related degree) is desirable but not essential
