A thriving all-through specialist school (agesin North Manchester is looking to appoint a compassionate, patient, and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to support students across KS3-KS4.

About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
Support teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
Work 1:1 with students and lead small-group interventions
Help pupils build confidence, regulate behaviour, and make academic progress
Implement effective behaviour strategies under the guidance of teaching and SEN staff
Contribute to a supportive, team-focused school culture
This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

What We're Looking For
✔ Experience with in a specialist education, residential, or care environment
✔ Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
✔ Patience, resilience, and a commitment to building positive relationships
✔ Ability to implement behaviour strategies (training provided)
✔ A relevant qualification-Level 2/3 TA or psychology-related degree-is desirable but not essential
