Hours of Work: 37.5 hours p/w

Haddon Training is part of Educ8 Training Group.

To actively manage a caseload of learners and deliver our range of Business qualifications ensuring compliance with the Department of Education (DfE) funding rules. You will work closely with learners, employers, the Curriculum Specialist for Functional Skills, and IQAs to ensure a high level of quality throughout every stage of the learner journey. Our blended learning model offers classroom based/cohort delivery, face to face individual teaching, coaching and mentoring, assignments and webinars, etc.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

We are looking for a high performing, qualified and experienced individual to join the team. Experience of delivery of Apprenticeship Standards is essential, and the right individual will be able to deliver a wide portfolio of programmes including:

  • Operations Manager Level 5
  • Associate Project Manager Level 4
  • Learning and Skills Mentor Level 4
  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 3
  • Customer Service Specialist Level 2
  • Business Administrator Level 3
  • Team Leader Level 3

As a Haddon Trainer Coach, you will manage a caseload of approximately 40 learners through every stage of their apprenticeship journey:

  • Enrolment/Induction
  • Teaching, Learning and Assessment
  • Coaching/mentoring
  • Delivery of Functional English, maths and Digital Skills
  • Supporting the wider curriculum (PREVENT, British Values, Safeguarding etc.)
  • Completing interim and mock EPA assessments.

You will work closely with learners, employers, and our internal Quality and Curriculum teams to develop high quality/bespoke Training Plans and delivery models.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience of delivery of Associate Project Manager and Business Apprenticeship standards
  • Customer focused commercial awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with substantive experience of providing supportive, concise feedback to learners, assessors and key stakeholders
  • Ability to offer guidance on careers advice and next steps after completing an Apprenticeship
  • Proficient IT skills that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence with Business Cover Insurance (A copy of your insurance will be requested upon offer)
Desirable Criteria
  • Holding an assessor qualification
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT
  • Experience of preparing for and presenting to a target audience
  • Experience of marking and grading assessments
  • Relevant teaching qualification (minimum PTTLS) or Education and Training Level 3 or 4
  • Experience of working with and maintaining quality assurance processes and complying with regulatory requirements
  • Experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports, including remarks/enquiries about results
Key Technologies
  • Maytas, Smart Assessor, Microsoft Office.
