About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified and passionate Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Oldham. We have regular supply work available for those looking for flexible, day-to-day cover or short-term assignments, including sickness cover, PPA, and course release.

Whether youre an ECT seeking classroom experience or an experienced teacher looking for flexibility, this is a great opportunity to work with a range of schools in your local area with full support from a dedicated consultant.

What Youll Be Doing:

Delivering lessons from pre-set plans in the absence of the class teacher.

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a focused learning environment.

Adapting to different school environments and year groups

Supporting students’ learning and development, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.

Communicating effectively with school staff and pupils.

What Were Looking For :
Wed love to hear from teachers who:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

Have experience teaching in UK schools

Are adaptable, reliable, and confident in managing a classroom.

Are enthusiastic about engaging with pupils of various ages and abilities.

Can commute to schools across Oldham and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

Right to Work in the UK

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service or willingness to apply)

Two professional teaching references

Recent Safeguarding training (can be provided)
