Smile Education is collaborating with a prominent secondary school in Manchester who are welcoming a talented Drama teacher starting after Easter on a part-time basis. The school are looking for someone for 2-3 days per week. If you’re ready to inspire young minds and make a positive impact in the classroom, we encourage you to get in touch. This role would be suitable for ECT's.

As a drama teacher, the role will consist of planning and delivering captivating lessons to students in line with the curriculum along with adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking. The right candidate will need to assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurture a love for learning which will be central to your role.

• A bachelor’s degree in education, Drama or a related field.
• Teaching certification or QTS/Level 5 (ideal but not a need to have)
• Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
