A friendly and supportive Primary School in Manchester (M40) is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team for the summer term, starting Monday 13th April. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a well-established class within a welcoming school environment.

The school has a strong leadership team, well-structured planning in place, and a collaborative staff culture, making this an excellent role for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

• Full responsibility for teaching and learning in a Year 1 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Working closely with teaching assistants and senior leaders

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 desirable)
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, proactive and enthusiastic
• Commit to high standards of teaching and pupil progress
