Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 GCSE Tutor in the Salford area, focusing on core subjects such as Math, English, and Science. We work with local authorities throughout the North-West to support vulnerable pupils who are currently outside of mainstream education.

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
• 2 years of professional references
• QTS or equivalent tutoring experience
• Experience working within an SEN setting (preferred but not required)

• Be patient, empathetic, and able to create and deliver personalised learning plans on a 1:1 basis
• Apply a therapeutic approach to re-engage students with their learning
• Provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine to support educational development and return to mainstream education
• Monitor pupil progress and submit weekly reports

Tuition typically occurs during school daytime hours, with occasional after-school sessions (3-4pm) or evening opportunities. Sessions generally range from 1 to 4 hours, on a daily or weekly basis.
