Year 5 Teacher - Upper KS2

Location: Salford

Aspire People is recruiting a Year 5 Teacher for a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Salford (M6). The school has a strong reputation for pupil behaviour, inclusive practice, and high expectations across KS2.

You will be joining a settled Upper KS2 team, with strong leadership support and well-established routines. The school places a real emphasis on staff wellbeing and manageable workload.

The Role:

Teaching a well-behaved Year 5 class

Delivering engaging, structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Supporting pupils with varied abilities, including SEND and EAL

Working collaboratively with the Year 5/6 team

Preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6

We're Looking For:

QTS with experience in KS2

Confident classroom management skills

Strong subject knowledge, particularly in Maths and Writing

A reflective and adaptable teaching approach

Someone who values teamwork and consistency

This role is ideal for an experienced KS2 teacher or a confident ECT looking to build Upper KS2 experience.
