Salary: £33,024-£35,103 Full Time Equivalent (Pro Rata Salary- £16,853.62 - £17,914.63)

About the RoleThe Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for a Careers Advisor to provide a comprehensive Information, Advice and Guidance Service for all clients of the Group, contributing to success, achievement, retention and progression.

Responsibilities- Provide an impartial, in‑depth initial guidance service for clients considering entering the Trafford College Group including an assessment of their interests, abilities and aspirations to assist them choose a relevant course of study with appropriate support.
- Provide an on‑going, impartial, in‑depth guidance service to students of all ages and backgrounds with differentiated, targeted follow‑up support, including early intervention for students who are considering leaving their course/s of study or learning.
- Provide help for students at appropriate times during and after their courses are completed to assist them maximise the benefits of their learning and qualifications within education, training and/or employment.
- Hold a Level 6 equivalent qualification in Careers Guidance and Level 2 Maths and English.

All employees, including senior managers, will normally be appointed to the minimum point of the pay grade for the job. In certain cases, it may be appropriate to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade at the discretion of the Director of HR & Performance due to the candidate’s current salary, experience or qualifications.
