Maths Teaching Assistant Aspire People - Secondary Schools Across Manchester Are you passionate about helping students achieve their potential in Maths? Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teaching Assistants to support secondary school students across Manchester. These roles are available on both short-term and long-term basis, offering an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to become Maths teachers or those with a strong background in Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in Maths lessons and help them grasp key concepts. Lead interventions for students who are struggling or need additional support in preparation for their GCSEs. Help bridge gaps in learning for students working towards their exams. Work closely with Maths teachers to provide tailored support to individuals and small groups. Encourage and motivate students to build their confidence in Maths.

Provide support to students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.

About You:

A UK degree in Maths or a related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths curriculum. Experience in tutoring or supporting students in Maths is a plus. Patient, approachable, and open to working with children with SEN. DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one. References covering the last 2 years, ideally from an education-related setting.
