Role Available: SEND Classroom Support Coordinator – Havering

Protocol Education is seeking a SEND Classroom Support Coordinator to join a specialist school in Havering. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with a range of needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD, and PMLD, helping them engage in learning, develop independence, and feel supported throughout their school day.
You may come from a background in healthcare, social care, residential support, or have personal experience supporting SEND. Previous school experience is not essential — the school values compassion, reliability, and a proactive approach above all. You should also be comfortable assisting with personal care when needed.
Role Details:- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Long-term, permanent position
- Based in Havering
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Has a patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Confident supporting children with complex needs
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
Certificates such as Manual Handling, Hoist, First Aid, or Care qualifications are an advantage but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
