Pay: £88.92 - £110.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Premier Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wythenshawe. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs within a specialist provision.

This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants considering a career in teaching or educational psychology, or individuals with relevant care or support backgrounds who are confident supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language difficulties.

Responsibilities

· Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

· Support pupils within the classroom and/or specialist SEN provision

· Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning support

· Implement targeted interventions to support academic progress and emotional development

· Support pupils with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs

· Help create engaging learning resources and assist with classroom preparation

· Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Requirements

· A degree (any subject) or a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

· Experience working with children in a UK school, SEN setting, tutoring, care, or youth environment (essential)

· Experience supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH (essential)

· A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

· A genuine passion for supporting children with a range of learning needs

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

· Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
