Aspire People is supporting a Manchester primary school that is looking for a confident and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistant with transferable experience working with children or young people.

• Youth worker or behaviour mentor
• Residential support worker
• Sports coach working with children
• Family support worker
• Nursery or childcare assistant

• Supporting pupils with behavioural or emotional needs
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Helping pupils stay engaged and focused in lessons
• Supporting structured routines and transitions
• Acting as a positive role model within the classroom
• Supporting social and emotional development

• Experience working with children or young people within the last 2 years
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, firm, and consistent approach
• Ability to build positive relationships quickly
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s development
