We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe Campus to join our Service and Retail Industries Department as a Course Leader (Hairdressing and Barbering) on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis. Site Information

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree.
  • Significant / Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
  • Proven track record of effective teaching in delivering in subject specialism or current valid industry specialism.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience or minimum of 3 years current valid industry specialism.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of leading a team.
  • Proven experience of working as a team.
  • Proven track record of achieving delivery targets and plans.
  • Accurate and timely reports and records.
  • Positive contribution to planning & development processes.
  • High quality positive student satisfaction.
