Headteacher

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of St Dennis Primary Academy, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Headteacher to join the team.

The school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 11 with an onsite nursery in a purpose-built building providing opportunities for younger children.

We currently have 190 pupils on roll and offer a rich and diverse curriculum, as well as a full programme of before and after-school activities.

The ideal candidate will have recent senior leadership experience and will share our vision and values.

Individuals must demonstrate a significant contribution to primary school improvement and an enthusiasm to embrace the opportunities of leading this already flourishing and happy school with a strong community identity.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
