Time Plan Education is working with a welcoming primary school seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support across KS1 and KS2. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with younger children and wants to help them make strong progress in reading, writing and maths.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with whole-class activities, small-group work and daily routines.
Work with pupils who need extra help in phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.
Help manage behaviour positively and keep pupils engaged and on task.
Assist with preparation of resources, displays and basic classroom admin.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring or similar).
Be patient, enthusiastic and confident supporting learning under the teacher's direction.
Have good literacy and numeracy skills and strong communication.
