About this jobWe are looking for an inspirational Nursery Class Teacher who is passionate about Early Years and committed to helping young children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
My client is a large, vibrant, and diverse primary school in inner‑city Manchester, which serves families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, and the Early Years provision is central to its vision of giving every child the strongest possible start.
As our Nursery Teacher, you will lead learning in a well‑resourced Early Years environment, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a warm, collaborative team.
You will play a key role in shaping our children's earliest school experiences through high‑quality provision and a nurturing, child‑centred approach.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Assess, track and report on children's progress
- Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to deliver a cohesive curriculum
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community
- A qualified teacher (ECTs warmly welcomed)
- Passionate about Early Years pedagogy and child development
- Skilled at building trust and nurturing confidence in young children
- Creative, reflective and enthusiastic about outdoor and play-based learning
- A strong communicator who works well in a team
- Committed to inclusion, equality and safeguarding
