37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary:
£22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)

What You’ll Do
As a School Support Worker, you’ll work closely with pupils and staff to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where students can thrive. You’ll support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them develop the skills, resilience and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.
No two days are the same — but every day brings the chance to help a young person grow, achieve and believe in themselves.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils’ learning, engagement and wellbeing throughout the school day
Encouraging pupils to achieve their personal and academic goals
Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and social-emotional development
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment
Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure every pupil receives the support they need
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, or ability to demonstrate equivalent skills
Strong spoken and written English
Passion for supporting children with additional needs
Calm, compassionate, proactive approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable:
Experience in a school or SEN setting
Understanding of autism, SEMH, or trauma-informed practice
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
