KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant - Level 2+ Required

Aspire People are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 within a welcoming primary school.

The school is looking for somebody who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality classroom support while delivering interventions and helping pupils make strong academic progress.

Applicants must hold a Level 2 qualification or above and have recent experience working within a UK primary school setting.

• Supporting pupils within classroom lessons
• Delivering interventions in Reading, Phonics, Maths, and Writing
• Supporting pupils on a small‑group and occasional 1:1 basis
• Working closely with teaching staff to support attainment targets
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Assisting with assessment activities and pupil progress monitoring

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
• Has worked within a UK primary school within the last 2 years
• Has strong curriculum knowledge across primary education
• Is confident delivering intervention work independently
• Has excellent organisational and communication skills
• Works effectively as part of a wider school team
