We are currently recruiting a Primary Curriculum Co‑ordinator for a specialist school in the Manchester area. The school is part of a group of specialist provisions across the North West and Midlands who cater for children with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH). This is a full‑time, permanent position and we are keen to start immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and quality assurance of the schools' curriculum, ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning across the provision.
  • Support and coach staff, lead curriculum‑focused CPD, monitor curriculum delivery, and work closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for pupils.
  • Form part of a wider Curriculum Team led by the Head of Curriculum, contributing to the strategic development of teaching and learning across the whole organisation.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Curriculum leadership and development experience
  • Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH learners
  • Requirement of an enhanced DBS check and submission of original qualifications before any placement
  • Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
