TA; Hive​/Nurture Responsibility

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, Level 3 (Hive / Nurture Base Responsibility) to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF
.

• To provide emotional, pastoral, and academic support for pupils experiencing EBSA, anxiety, or difficulties accessing mainstream education.
• To help create and maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment where pupils feel supported, regulated, and ready to learn.
• To support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and positive relationships in order to improve engagement with school life.
• To work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals to support successful reintegration into mainstream lessons and improve pupil outcomes.

• Build positive, trusting, and consistent relationships with pupils experiencing anxiety, emotional needs, EBSA, or barriers to school attendance and engagement.
• Support pupils on an individual and small-group basis within The Hive and, where appropriate, during planned reintegration into mainstream lessons.
• Help create and maintain a calm, safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes emotional wellbeing, engagement, and readiness to learn.
• Leading and delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions to support pupils’ emotional regulation, social skills, resilience, confidence, and engagement with learning.
