SEN Teacher - Milnrow, Rochdale, Greater Manchester

We are currently working in partnership with a primary and secondary SEN setting in Rochdale to recruit dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers for September starts. This is an exciting opportunity for Primary-trained teachers with an SEN specialism who are looking to make a meaningful impact in supportive and well-resourced environments. Both long-term contract and permanent positions are available.

The Role
  • Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Adapt curriculum content to meet individual learning styles and abilities
  • Support pupils with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
  • Create a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting strategies where needed
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Primary teaching background with SEN experience or specialism
  • Experience working in SEN or specialist settings
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and EHCPs
  • Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
