Teacher (Primary School)

At Heaton Park Primary School, part of The Collective Community Trust, we offer a full‑time, permanent teaching position starting September 2026. The school was judged Good by Ofsted in November 2022 and offers a vibrant, inclusive environment for children.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive and supportive feedback.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, independence and a love of learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parent/carers to ensure the best outcome for pupils.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra‑curricular activities and school events.
  • Be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
