Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Salford
Milk Education is recruiting for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming Primary School in Salford on a long-term basis starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Psychology graduate, or support worker looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:- Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEND, helping them to access learning and achieve their individual targets.
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs both inside and outside the classroom.
- Promoting inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
- Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement tailored support strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Recent and relevant experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care, youth work, or support setting.
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.
