Cover People are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Salford, starting from September 2026 for a full term as a minimum. This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs and experienced educators to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and GCSE, within a school that has a strong leadership team, clear behaviour systems and a collaborative staff culture.
M1-M6 teachers will be paid to scale from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching in line with national curriculum standards
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE Maths
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and needs
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners
- Contribute positively to department planning and wider school initiatives
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE Maths
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for teaching and raising pupil attainment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Right to work in the UK
