A welcoming specialist school in Earley is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, moderate learning difficulties, and complex learning needs. You will play an important role in helping students access learning and achieve their individual goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored support as a SEN Learning Support Assistant on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Supporting pupils both within the classroom and during wider school activities
  • Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and social development
  • Helping maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents
