Premises Supervisor

Location: Dukesgate Academy, Little Hulton, Salford, Manchester, M38 9HF

Salary: Actual £23,308 per annum (to the FTE £26,894)

Working Hours: 32.5 per week (split shift, 7am – 9:30am and 2pm – 6pm)

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday all year round (holiday entitlement taken during school holidays)

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Closing Date: 3rd July 2026 at 12 noon

We are looking to recruit a proactive, reliable and well‑organised Premises Supervisor to join our team. The role involves supporting the school community through day‑to‑day maintenance, security and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.

• Opening and closing the school site
• Ensuring the school is safe, clean and well maintained for staff, pupils and visitors
• Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
• Monitoring the condition of the building, grounds, equipment and services
• Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
• Acting as a key holder and responding to emergency call‑outs when required
• Supporting occasional out-of-hours events such as Parents’ Evenings and school community events
• Working under the direction of the School Principal to support school operational requirements as required
