Chorlton High School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support pupils and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.

• Supervising classes across 11‑16 year olds during teacher absences
• Delivering pre‑prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning
• Supporting pupils with their work and answering basic questions where appropriate
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
• Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive school team

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Adaptability, reliability, and ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Enthusiasm and professionalism in work
