Salary:
Up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Hours:

37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm

Contract:

Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our supportive, multidisciplinary team, you’ll have the freedom and flexibility to tailor your teaching to each child’s individual needs, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach small, focused classes, adapting lessons to meet each pupil’s unique learning style and needs.

Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence.

Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and pastoral colleagues.

Nurture pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and personal development holistically.

Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment where every child feels valued.

Support pupils in developing essential life skills and independence.

Encourage pupil participation and ownership of their learning journey.

Maintain excellent safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil wellbeing.

Track and assess progress effectively, adapting strategies as needed.

Celebrate every success — big or small — and embrace each challenge with positivity.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A creative, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional or complex needs

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Commitment to raising outcomes and celebrating progress at every stage
