Teaching Assistants Level 4

There is scope for the contract term to be extended and will be reviewed in June 2027.

We are looking for a creative, energetic and enthusiastic Level 4 qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team. We need someone who can maintain a safe and positive environment for all learners and work with the team to plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities that promote the children’s holistic development, including physical, intellectual, emotional needs and encourages social interaction between children.

The role requires a candidate that is enthusiastic, hard-working and able to use their own initiative, in addition to having a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork and commitment to the role.

The successful candidate will be someone who
  • Meets HLTA standards or equivalent qualification
  • Has achieved secure knowledge and skills in English and Mathematics
  • Is able to inspire and motivate and be an excellent role model for our pupils.
  • Can cover whole classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Leads Interventions:
    Deliver targeted phonics, reading, and maths sessions for small groups.
  • Support SEND:
    Adapt primary curriculum activities for children with additional needs.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues.
  • Has previous experience of working with children in an education setting.
  • Demonstrates personal resilience and role models those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.
  • Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
