Are you a caring, enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role OR part time role in Northumberland? Do you enjoy supporting children's learning and making a real difference in the classroom every day?

Humly is working closely with a wonderful and exceptionally popular primary school in Northumberland who are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team on a supply basis. They are currently recruiting for full and part time roles as well as adhoc bookings - perfect to fit any requirement or schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support:
    Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
  • Pupil Support:
    Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and provide additional support where needed.
  • Inclusion:
    Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, ensuring they can access learning and participate fully.
  • Behaviour & Wellbeing:
    Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
  • Learning Environment:
    Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaboration:

    Work effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff to support pupil progress.
  • Safeguarding:
    Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable).
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
