Lecturer - Early Years

Role

Lecturer – Early Years (Full‑time, permanent). 35 hours per week, salary £35,019 – £49,767 per annum.

Location:

Altrincham. Employer pension contribution: 28.68%.

• Develop and deliver an innovative, inclusive curriculum covering entry to level 3, including NCFE CACHE and T Levels, for early years and education learners.
• Plan and teach units, assessments and practical sessions, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Provide academic support and guidance, acting as course tutor and assessor where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine departmental programmes, initiatives and continuous improvement processes.
• Promote the personal and social development of all learners and embed these values into the curriculum.

• Qualified to at least level 3 with a relevant early childhood education or teaching qualification.
• Desirable to hold an assessor qualification.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and championing inclusion.
