As a Design Technology Teacher, you will teach KS3 and KS4 students how to design, create, and evaluate work within a structured and practical environment.

• Teach DT across KS3 and KS4
• Guide students through design and build processes
• Support practical work and safe tool use
• Prepare students for GCSE coursework
• Maintain organised workshop environments
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Track progress and provide feedback

• Lessons are structured and organised
• Students follow clear instructions
• Practical work is controlled and safe
• Behaviour is consistent

• Experience teaching DT or strong practical background
• Confidence managing practical lessons
• Strong organisation skills
• Clear communication

• Students complete projects successfully
• Work improves over time
• Lessons run smoothly and productively

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with engineering, design, or construction backgrounds.
