Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: Full-time

Start: ASAP / September

Pay: £85 £ 95 per day

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting pupils within classroom activities
  • Assisting with interventions and small group work
  • Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour
  • Supporting children with varying learning needs
  • Helping create positive learning environments

    Working closely with teachers and support staff
  • Promoting confidence and independence in pupils
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children desirable
  • Positive and patient attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for education and supporting young learners
  • Adaptable and proactive approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
