We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and committed Computer Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), we welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about developing students’ digital literacy, computational thinking, and programming skills.

About the Role
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to develop confidence in programming, computational thinking, and digital technologies.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.
  • Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and STEM initiatives.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it.
  • Has a degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computing, ICT, or a related field.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science education.
  • Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the school community.
