This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and making a positive impact every day.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

The Teaching Assistant will work across Key Stage 1, supporting children with a range of learning and communication needs.

The Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support as well as small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.

The Teaching Assistant will assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

The Teaching Assistant will liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual education plans.

The Teaching Assistant will help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning experience for all pupils.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:

Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.

Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, particularly in Key Stage 1.

Be a team player who's proactive, nurturing, and dependable.

Be a Teaching Assistant who is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's well-being.

Be calm, patient, and enthusiastic about learning and pupil development.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

Two professional references covering the last three years.

Right to work in the UK.

A genuine passion for supporting children's education.
