Are you a passionate and dedicated qualified English Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role from September?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Secondary English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the South Manchester area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, with full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment, and marking. ECT’s welcome.
The Role
- Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote excellent progress
- Full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities
- Monitoring student achievement and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student success
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be able to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
