Teaching Assistant Level 2

St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School – Orchard Road, Altrincham, Cheshire – WA15 8EY

Band 3 (SCP 6‑11) salary range £25,989 – £28,142 per annum (pro‑rata). 26 hours per week – Monday 10 am‑3:30 pm, Tuesday‑Wednesday 9 am‑3 pm, Thursday‑Friday 9 am‑2:30 pm – term‑time plus INSET days.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated support to individual pupils according to their education and health care plans.
  • Assist in the delivery of teaching and learning activities across the primary curriculum.
  • Support pupils’ development of confidence, behaviour and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents and external agencies to promote the welfare and attainment of pupils.

  • Supportive of Catholic education and values.
  • High expectations of achievement for every child.
  • Capability to act as a role model and inspire others.
  • Ability to motivate children, parents and colleagues to achieve high standards.
  • Experience as a teaching assistant is highly desirable.
