Hours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent, term time only
Salary Grade: UL Band 2 vocational Pay Scale 3 - 9 (£25,918 - £30,261)
Conditions of Service: United Learning Permanent Contract

About the roleWe are seeking a confident, organised and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school team. The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning and work in a safe, positive and productive environment. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and support students in achieving high standards of conduct and achievement.
Strong communication skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential. Experience in working with young people is desirable, and a future career in teaching or a desire to contribute to a thriving school community will be valued.
Responsibilities- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
