I am working with a trust who are looking to appoint an English teacher for their specialist SEN/SEMH setting, starting in September.

English SEN Teacher

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
You'll work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner
Use a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement

About you:

Must have QTS
Experience working in a specialist school or with SEN pupils
A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
