Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming Secondary School in Stockport that is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The school has a strong community ethos and is committed to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where both students and staff are encouraged to thrive.

The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, monitoring student progress, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and working collaboratively with the wider department to support excellent outcomes.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

• Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
