Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join an outstanding specialist primary school in Trafford from September.
This full‑time Primary SEN Teacher opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEN Teacher or Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You’ll be joining a highly supportive specialist primary setting dedicated to supporting children with severe and profound learning difficulties, autism, sensory impairments and complex additional needs. With a child‑centred curriculum and a nurturing, collaborative approach, the school is committed to helping every pupil develop confidence, independence and reach their full potential.
The successful Primary SEN Teacher will take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and delivering personalised learning that meets the individual needs of every pupil.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for primary‑aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported to succeed
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, families and external professionals to support pupil progress
- Assess, monitor and adapt learning to ensure every pupil achieves their full potential
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Primary Teacher or SEN Teacher
, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A compassionate, patient and adaptable approach to teaching
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
