Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or 3 Are you passionate about helping children feel confident, supported and ready to learn? Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to gain school-based experience or someone with transferable skills from care, youth work or support roles, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Greater Manchester. This is a genuinely rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every small achievement feels like a big win.

You'll work closely with an experienced team including class teachers, the SENCO, pastoral staff and skilled support assistants, with access to excellent facilities. Responsibilities Provide in class support for SEN pupils Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Help pupils access learning and stay engaged throughout the school day Support classroom routines, transitions and break times Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and wellbeing Requirements

Experience with children/young people (schools, care, youth work, coaching or similar) A patient, nurturing and resilient approach SEN/SEMH experience is essential A degree would be advantageous but not essential Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to support personal care if required Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
