Cover People are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher for a rewarding long-term opportunity within a welcoming and nurturing Catholic primary school in Manchester.

You will join a supportive and experienced team committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing Year 6 pupils for their transition to secondary education while ensuring they remain motivated, challenged, and supported throughout their final year of primary school.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support the school's Catholic ethos and values.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Good understanding of Year 6 expectations and SATs preparation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to providing an inclusive, stimulating learning experience for all pupils.
