About the Role
Reed FE are working with a rapidly growing Higher Education provider to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join their academic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes, supporting a diverse student cohort and contributing to student success within a dynamic HE environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across Health & Social Care modules (Level 4–6)
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with HE standards
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Participate in quality assurance processes and academic meetings
- Maintain accurate academic records and reporting
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- A Master’s degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject
- Current UK Higher Education teaching experience
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCert HE, PGCHE, HEA or equivalent)
- Experience delivering teaching at undergraduate level
- Strong understanding of UK HE frameworks and academic standards
Desirable
- Industry experience within Health & Social Care
- PhD or working towards one
- HEA Fellowship
- Experience supporting student progression and outcomes
