English SEN Teacher - Specialist School
Are you a qualified English teacher with extensive SEN/SEMH experience?
Perhaps you are looking for a permanent post in a specialist school?
I am working with a trust who is looking to appoint an English teacher for their specialist SEN/SEMH setting, starting in September.
English SEN TeacherThe Role:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner.
- Use a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement.
About you:
- Must have QTS.
- Experience working in a specialist school or with SEN pupils.
- A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Permanent role.
- Starting September.
- Interviews are being held ASAP.
- Tameside/Wythenshawe location.
- MPS - UPS pay.
