Maths Teacher – Stretford

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: Up to £35,459

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a well-established independent school in the Stretford area. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive environment with small class sizes (maximum of 20 students), allowing for a more personalised approach to teaching and learning.

You will teach Maths across KS3 and GCSE, helping students to achieve their full potential while benefiting from a collaborative and welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to maximise achievement.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents to promote a positive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
  • Recent experience teaching Maths at KS3 & GCSE.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A current Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Availability to start in September 2026.
